Getting Around Town during Super Bowl week

The City of Minneapolis is in the midst of extensive planning to ensure public safety and provide residents and visitors with a world-class event experience around Super Bowl LII. There will be a range of events in the city to enjoy during the 10-day festival Jan. 26-Feb. 4 including Super Bowl LIVE on Nicollet Mall, a free 10-day festival leading up to game day featuring free live concerts, food and other activities for local residents and their families to enjoy.

The Minnesota Super Bowl Host Committee, along with the City, Metro Transit and the Mall of America, announced the “Know Before You Go” initiative that provides travel tips and information for residents and visitors to make travel plans during the 10-day Super Bowl festival. The guide includes recommended routes to downtown Minneapolis, user-friendly maps with information about road closures, public transportation options and instructions on how to purchase convenient parking.
