Volunteers of America RRC Holiday Party

Via Volunteers of America:

Continuing the tradition of supporting families affected by incarceration, the Residential Reentry Center will once again be holding a Children of Incarcerated Parents Christmas Gift Drive and Family Holiday Party. This tradition allows for fathers with limited resources to provide children with gifts.

The pre-party includes a social event where fathers wrap their gifts together, eat Christmas goodies, and share with either other the joys and challenges that come with being a formerly-incarcerated father. After all gifts are wrapped, families are invited to join us for a Christmas Party with games, food, and gifts.

We need you!

In order to continue with this tradition here at the RRC, we rely on the generosity of our supporters. If you are able, we would greatly appreciate any donations toward the Children of Incarcerated Parents holiday program. We accept gifts for children age 0-17, as well as monetary donations which will be spent on gifts for the children of our current residents. If you are not able to contribute financially but would like to be involved, or if you would like to help out in addition to your gift, we welcome you!
