Summer Savings Passport 2024

The Summer Savings Passport is back for 2024! Formerly the Shop Longfellow BOGO Passport, this passport contains deals from a variety of local businesses  – restaurants, retail shops, and more. The passport encourages patrons to support small businesses in the Greater Longfellow area while saving money.  The Passport has a positive impact on the local economy, helps businesses expand and maintain their customer base, and promotes the LBA.

We’re looking for participants for our 2024 Passport! This year, we partnered with the Seward Civic & Commerce Association to expand the scope of neighborhood savings and participation.

Businesses can chose what kind of deals to offer (a percentage off a purchase, BOGO, dollar discounts, whatever you want!) We’re also looking for businesses to host pop-up events in coordination with the booklet!

Registration is open until May 31st. Booklets are valid for customer use from June 22 to September 22nd. Participating businesses will get booklets to sell! Sign up at the link in our bio!

Started in 2022 as a punchcard, the BOGO passport is an annual project that was made possible in 2023 thanks to a BDS grant from the City of Minneapolis. Email for inquiries or information.

Legislative Update

Thanks to everyone who came out to our 2024 Legislative Update! The Legislative Update is held annually each spring in partnership with a variety of community stakeholders. This meeting brings together community members, business owners, and elected officials from the state and local level to talk about issues facing our community and provide policy updates.

This year, we were joined by State Rep. Samantha Sencer-Mura, State Senator Zaynab Mohamed, and Hennepin County Commissioner Angela Conley.
